ARTIST STATEMENT

- I, Alyssa Maucere, am a Philadelphia based multimedia artist. I support my peers by creating artistic interpretations of their efforts, either to be used for their promotion or for personal keepsakes. Topics like the metaphysical, the organic, religious disbelief, exploring space and time, studying the occult, and social issues ranging from DIY lifestyles to fighting temptation from larger organizations are common throughout the current works.
I received a BFA for Printmaking in 2010 from Tyler School of Art/Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. I screen print, design, illustrate, tattoo, paint, and write/perform music.
